Nowy Inc. ("Nowy," "we," "us," or "our") operates map.nowy.io and related services (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide: your name, email, Instagram handle, and any account details you enter.

Instagram content you authorize us to access: when you connect your Instagram account or provide your handle, you authorize Nowy to access, retrieve, and process your public posts, captions, tags, location data, and images for the purpose of generating your map. You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to all content you direct us to process.

Automatically collected: device information, IP address, browser type, pages visited, and usage data collected via cookies and similar technologies.

Affiliate and booking activity: when users click booking or affiliate links on your map, we may collect click and conversion data to calculate commissions.

3. How We Use Information We use information to: provide and operate the Service; generate and update your map; calculate affiliate commissions; communicate with you; improve the Service; detect fraud and abuse; and comply with law.

4. Artificial Intelligence Nowy uses automated systems and AI to organize and structure content you have already created. Nowy does not generate original travel recommendations on your behalf and does not claim ownership of your content. AI is used solely as an organizational and extraction tool.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:

• with service providers (hosting, analytics, payment processing) who act on our behalf;

• with affiliate and booking partners solely to track and pay commissions;

• if required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights, users, or the public;

• in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

6. Third-Party Services and Links The Service contains links to third-party booking and affiliate sites (including but not limited to online travel agencies and activity providers). Nowy does not control these sites, is not responsible for their content, privacy practices, transactions, or any bookings made through them. Any purchase or booking is solely between you (or the traveler) and the third party. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

7. No Affiliation with Instagram or Meta Nowy is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram, Meta Platforms, Inc., or any of their affiliates. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

8. Data Retention We retain information as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

9. Your Choices and Rights You may access, update, or delete your account information by contacting info@nowy.io. Depending on your location (e.g., California, EU/UK), you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your data, and to opt out of certain uses. We will honor rights required by applicable law.

10. Children The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

11. Security We use reasonable measures to protect information, but no system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. International Users The Service is operated from the United States. By using it, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in the United States.
